From June 2019, we won’t be selling new online travel policies

Following a review of our travel operating model, we’ve concluded that our online broker travel facility (via the Ageas Broker Extranet) is no longer sustainable. From June 2019, we won’t be selling online Ageas travel policies.

We’ll continue to accept online single and annual multi-trip polices until the end of May 2019 and we’ll also service these policies until May 2020, when remaining live policies will expire.

What will happen to existing policies?  

All of your existing travel customers will continue to receive the same high levels of service when they speak to our international claims and assistance team. From early 2019, that service will be delivered by a new external provider, called Linkham - but it will be a seamless transition. Your customers won’t notice the difference.

Will Ageas stop providing broker travel products completely?

We’ll be retaining our existing bespoke travel schemes offering beyond 2019. If you have a significant number of travel customers on your books, or there’s an existing scheme you’d like to explore, please contact your Business Account Executive – we’d be happy to look at individual business cases for multiple policies. If you don’t have a Business Account Executive, please contact travelunderwriting@ageas.co.uk.

  • Our online Ageas broker travel product won’t be offered from June 2019

  • From early 2019, current policies will be serviced 24/7 by our new claims provider, Linkham, using the same phone number on your customers’ policy documentation or via our customer website
