We’re sure you’re on the case already, but if not - it’s time to prepare your compliance statements and submit it to the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA).

To make things easier, we’ve produced a simplified NCD table for our Optima Car, Motor Guard & Van Guard products and a separate table for our new motor product, Ageas Private Car. You can add the information straight into your compliance statement.

If you sell personal motor insurance, the CMA requires all compliance statements to be submitted to them by February 1 2020. Please submit your completed compliance statement using this link https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/private-motor-insurers-and-brokers-compliance-reporting-form

If you need to know what to submit, then take a look at The CMA’s Template PMI Compliance Statement – it starts from page 18.

The CMA also produced an explanatory note that you may find helpful if you’d like to know more.
