Changes to Motor Guard and Van Guard Policy number formats

We’re changing the policy number format on all of our EDI Motor Guard and Van Guard policies.

The new format has come into force for some software houses; with the others changing in the next few months. 

Our new policy numbers will look like this:

Acturis	Motor Guard - GDCRA00000001    Van Guard - GDVRA00000001
Applied	Motor & Van Guard - GDMPA00000001
CDL	Motor Guard - GDCCA00000001 Van Guard - GDVCA00000001
Datamatters	Motor Guard - GDCDA00000001  Van Guard - GDVDA00000001
OpenGI	Motor Guard - GDCGA00000001 Van Guard - GDVGA00000001 (changing 2018)
SSP	GDMSA00000001 (changing December)

For most software houses you don’t need to do anything as your new policy number range will be automatically updated for you. SSP users will need to enter a new policy range into their system after the December update, which we’ll post directly to our normal contact at your brokerage.
