Optima Trade & Professional going 100% digital

The crew will always try to go that bit further to help you. In fact, because we’re so determined to help you win business, in the past we've made manual adjustments to a digital trade, so that we can accept a quote.

The trouble is, this can slow things down – and we’d rather go forwards not backwards.

With that in mind, we’re making a change that ties in with longer-term plans for improved services. It should help your trade customers (and you) to get the cover in place that’s needed, a little bit faster:

From 1 June, all new cover and renewals of Optima Trade & Professional will be traded via our website (log in here). The change-over will be seamless, as you’d expect.

If you have Optima Trade & Professional customers who’ve been covered manually, we’ll migrate those policies on your behalf at renewal. There's nothing more you need to do.

What will this mean for you?

What policies are affected?

Right now, this change only affects Optima Trade & Professional cover. We’ll be making these improvements to our other digitally traded products in the very near future. If you’re not familiar with our competitive digital policies, it’s worth having a look at their details here.

We believe this policy is both essential and flexible – and we now cover over 500 trades. It’s an excellent all-round policy for anyone working away from home and/or operating from a business premises.
