Van Guard Excess changes

To help you stay competitive, we’re changing the way we calculate accidental damage excesses on our Van Guard product. Our current accidental damage excess is £100, but these changes will make our offering more in line with 'direct’ insurers.

What's happening...

We’re trying to make these changes in a way that causes minimum impact for you and your customers:

These changes won’t apply to mid-term adjustments.
These changes will apply to new business quotes and renewal invites for Van Guard from 1 May 2019 onwards.
The change to each Van Guard policy excess will vary – it depends on several criteria – but in the main we’re looking at vehicle body types, size of the Van and age of the Van.
