November 2023

• Stephen Linklater, Claims Director, has been quoted in an article from Insurance Fraud Bureau (IFB) in Insurance Post, revealing how AI has sped up detection of fraudulent claims. 
• As part of Insurance Post’s focus on AI this week, they have featured an article with our Chief Actuary, Tom Quirke, on how we are ensuring humans and AI work in synergy to benefit our relationships with customers. You can read the full article online.

October 2023

• More coverage on how Ageas are helping customers through the recent storms. In this Insurance Times article, which shares the thoughts and actions of several insurers on the subject of mitigating the risk of claims, Stephen Linklater (our Claims Director) has the final say with a statement on Ageas's approach to supporting customers.

• Ageas Claims Director, Stephen Linklater was interviewed live on national radio, talking about how we’ve been supporting customers affected by Storm Babet and Storm Ciaran. In this interview, Ageas CEO Ant Middle talks about why they're championing brokers in the personal lines market, and how working closely with them is already reaping rewards. Ageas has achieved over 25% growth in personal lines via intermediaries this year, coming from both premium growth and increasing customer numbers.

• Ageas is an industry leader in the use of green car parts in vehicle repairs, so naturally when Insurance Post came to write an article on the subject they came to us for our views. Our award-winning green parts programme has been running since 2019 and last year we used these type of car parts in nearly a third of repairs. Since the programme launched we've used an impressive 30,000 green parts in repairs.
