New Ageas House Guard live on SSP

New Ageas House Guard, our flagship, affordable house insurance product is now available on SSP

If you're an SSP user, you'll notice that our new household product - New Ageas House Guard is now live. Simply select the scheme in the drop down and ensure it's added into the select lists to start introducing your customers today!  

Our latest flagship insurance product appears alongside Ageas House Guard – our existing offering. When quoting, it will show as ‘New House Guard’ with the product code 'AHP1' and the commission on this new product will continue to match your current agreement. If you're a Key Choice Broker, it will also show as 'AHP1'.

Until it’s more widely available to all brokers, Ageas House Guard will continue to provide a premium. If a quote returns a more competitive premium, we’ll happily accept it via New Ageas House Guard (as long as it’s the same risk). Please use override code “PREMOR” to match the cheaper premium and ensure this is recorded and shared with us – email policyservices@ageas.co.uk.  
 
Ageas House Guard will eventually close to new business and renewals, but you'll still be able to make mid-term adjustments and cancellations. We’ll keep you up to date on when this will happen.  

Make the switch for renewing customers 

Now that New Ageas House Guard is available, please rebroke any renewing policies onto this new product. Existing House Guard policies won’t be automatically migrated to New House Guard. If you’re a Key Choice broker you’ll need to rebroke all policies with FTK5/FTK6/FTK7 schemes to AHP1.

• Bedroom rated Buildings Cover - now up to £1m (or up to £1.5m on a sums insured basis) 
• Bedroom rated Contents Cover - now up to £100k (or up to £150k on a sums insured basis) 
• Pricing delivered by our Insurer Hosted Pricing hub - meaning real time, accurate and competitive rates with no system delays for updates. 
• The same standard excesses and commission as the soon-to-be-closed Ageas House Guard.
