Ageas UK | Top Employer for 2023

We’re delighted to say we’ve been re-certified as a Top Employer in the UK.

Being Top Employer-certified is very important to us. It speaks volumes about all the great work we’re doing at Ageas UK, creating a great place to work, and helping our employees to be the best of themselves – we’d like to thank everyone in our HR and Development teams who’ve helped us to achieve and maintain these high standards.

High quality, high standards 

Our business re-certifies each year to make sure Top Employer certification has ongoing validity. It’s a rigorous process in which every aspect of our employee journey is examined in detail – from recruitment right through to leaving the business. Re-certification isn’t guaranteed either, up to 20% of the questions change each year and scores can go up or down. But our purpose and Ageas’s values are very visible throughout, and we believe we’ve shown how important it is to truly understand our people and collaborate on making sure we’re a great employer.

Re-certification is also a chance for us to take stock of other people’s perspectives, comparing our performance to others who are Top Employer-certified, so we can continually evolve what we’re offering to our staff. 

Re-certification shows we’re constantly willing to learn 

Organisations who take part in the Top Employers Institute program receive certification that reflects their HR Best Practices Survey. The survey covers six HR domains, with 20 topics that include People Strategy, Work Environment, Talent Acquisition, Learning, Well-being and Diversity & Inclusion.

It’s as much about listening as it is about learning. The re-certification reflects our investment in developing great people everywhere in our business and making Ageas a ‘Great Place to Grow’.

Now that we are re-certified as a Top Employer though, it doesn’t mean we can sit back and relax. We’ve been working hard on our environment and people practices, and our continuous efforts have been reflected in this year’s scores. Over the coming months we’re going to formalise our Employee Value Proposition (EVP), which will help us attract even more of the top talent.
