NCD tables for CMA Compliance Statements **Updated for Feb 2024 submissions**
As long as a claim hasn’t been made, we’ll include a No Claim Discount (NCD) in your customer’s renewal premiums.
An NCD can’t be transferred to any other person. If a claim is made on your customer’s policy, then we will reduce the NCD at renewal (or when the policy is cancelled, if this cancellation is prior to the renewal date).
To help you, this first dropdown shows the simplified NCD table for our Private Car and Commercial Vehicle policies – followed by policy-specific breakdowns below.
To help you comply with the CMA Order by 1 February 2024, we’ve produced a simplified NCD table for Ageas Private Car, Combined values for Optima Plus and Van Guard.. You can use this for your annual compliance statements to cover the 2023 period.
Information about how to submit your compliance statement can found by following this link https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/private-motor-insurance-market-investigation-order-2015. You'll need to email you completed form to PMI.Order@cma.gov.uk.

Your customer’s No Claim Discount won’t be affected if:
- the only claims made are for damaged windscreen or window glass under Section C or for replacement locks under Section D of the policy; or,
- all of our outlay is recovered from a third party or could be but for an industry agreement; or,
- comprehensive cover is in place and your customer is making a claim for an accident that is not their fault and the driver of the vehicle that hit their car is identified and is uninsured. See page 18 of the Ageas Private Car policy booklet for more details.
